In Windows9x: 
C:\>XCOPY *.* D: /C /H /E /K /R

SYS C: D:
will copy your drive and make it bootable.

Ghost works across a network in DOS mode. Well, that is as long as you have DOS drivers for your NIC. The only way to run ghost is in DOS.
