Don't under estimate the weight of the tree either. one tonne of wood is surprisingly short lengths when you see it as a tree. I've seen a video of a guy chainsawing a tree to drop into the back of his pickup. He landed it perfectly into the tray but the tree was over two metres high and 5 foot in diameter. Broke the suspension, the rear tyres, bent the tray and the chassis too I imagine and started rolling down a slight hill.
