One of the ways these resistors can be fried is with improper g2 bias setup. You can get more output out of the crts ( a brighter picture) by increasing the g2 voltage on the crt amplifier cards this will produce higher beam current and more output with a decrease in crt life. I expect that might have been the case. I just bought this projector. Didn't pay much for it. I think this is the only thing wrong with it. I'm very leery about putting the wrong component in it. I think if it is a 10k and I put a 100k that there is a strong likelyhood that I will fry something. On the other hand if it was a 100k and I put a 10k in there I think I'll fry something. What to do!!
