I made a wording mistake in my original post. Allow me to clear it up:
If they like a program enough that was set as a mid-season replacement, they might do the original broadcasting of it in the summer.
What I meant was that if they had a series scheduled as a mid-season replacement but didn't use it, they might do its first run during the summer off-months. This would seem to be the case with Keen Eddie.
