I've found, though, that women just don't get the male obsession with schoolgirl uniforms. This is probably because men can't explain it, either.

I think it goes something like this:

Guy grows up in Catholic school. Catholic school girls wear uniforms. Guy learns to associate uniform with sexuality.

or

Guy grows up near Catholic school. Catholic girls wear uniforms. Catholic school girls have a reputation for... uh... you know. Guy links the two.

or

Short skirt, near-sheer white blouse? Hot-diggity-dog!



(Note... not trying to pick on Catholics, here, but it was only the Catholic schools that had uniforms in the school system I went to.)
