On a side note, how much noise does the cooler on that card make ? The first FX card were extremely noisy ; did they find a way to (more or less) fix that ?

It's reasonable. I don't know if it's a fixed version or if it's a noisy one, but I get more sound out of the CPU cooler and case fans than out of that card.
