I thought the difference was between the 2001 and 2002 models, but the original link I posted may very well have listed the incorrect image. I would think, like many other manufacturers, Panasonic vary their model numbers from year to year. The weird thing is that I've seen that model (image above) listed as 2002, but I know for a fact that CD-DF801 was released in 2001 (Panasonic's own press release).

I just found the very useful support pags on Panasonic's site. There's a decent image link for their models. Hae to search one at a time, but I'll see if I can get what I need from there.
