I think you're noticing with your newest songs simply because as time is going by, your drive is getting more and more f*cked up. My player has only been paper clipped once and I run it all day at work. For the record, it has FLAC, MP3 VBR and 320k CBR files on it. Usually it's in full shuffle mode.
