Just out of curiosity (since I was looking at the VLC solution myself), would you really need Gig-E?

I figure the average bitrate on a DVD shouldn't even fill a dedicated 100Mbps line. Or is my math really that bad?

Either way, when you're ready, this is the best I've been able to find for storage.... (drool)
