Not that I'm saying it isn't true. I appropriated a Sony GDM-FW900 monitor for my dad's office about 3 years ago. It was a lovely $2000, 24-in widescreen, flat-screened monitor. A real behemoth but beautiful. It went to where it was needed most - at his desktop publishing station. Too bad the person working at it uses it at 1024x768.
