I'll give USB a try. Just using jEmplode didn't work (meaning emplode still crashed after syncing with jEmplode).

My databases kept having to be rebuilt after power interruptions, so I've removed TTSClock and eliminated the reservecache=20 statement in my config.ini and the databases seem to stick. This is an original MKII with 12MB.

Bah. I just tried USB and emplode crashed out. My only change to the database is adding a '.' to one song's comments tag.

jEmplode refuses to see the USB connection (ver.54), only the Ethernet connection.

I did sync once successfully with Jemplode (but not a 2nd time). After the successful jEmplode sync, I got the message:

'There wasn't a file with FID=2 on this device'


I'm syncing with jEmplode now, and it's doing a media check, so it'll be a while...
