Hey guys, I just built a PC with the MSI Neo2 Motherboard with a Penitum 4 3.0 Ghz 800Mhz FSB. I got the Thermaltak Spark 7+ CPU fan to cool the CPU obviously. I installed the MSI software to mointor the temperatures of the the CPU, Case, and NB. THe CPU temp idles between 40C-45C which seems high. When I run a game it gets up to mid to high 50s. My case temp is 40C and my NB temp is 53C. All of these seem way too high.
My fan setup is one 120mm upfront as intake, and no side fan and only my power supply fan at back exhausting. If I put another 120mm upfront and at the side as intake, and put an 80mm at rear as exhaust would that take me down any? Is that even a good setup? I don't have a vent at the top as my case didn't come with one.
I'm really worried that I'm gonna fry my CPU. It seems to slow down a lot when its intensive.
Thanks for the help.
