Maybe I don't understand what you're saying, but how I've got mine set up is:
Empeg, Tivo, Playstation2 connected to 5 port switch. Switch then connects to WET11. WET11 then wirelessly bridges this mini-lan to my Wireless Router/Switch way back across the house, invisibly. So you can put a bunch of ethernet only devices on your wireless network using the WET11.
