I have been put in charge of finding some information and pricing on Audio recording equipment for a conference room. I am not sure exactly what they want as the people who want it are away from the office right now. I would like to know if anyone here can help me out though.

What I envision being needed is the recording unit (cd-recorder or maybe direct to pc digital recording) and some sort of mic setup. The room is a 30 x 30 room which is usually setup in a round table style but is often rearranged to have rows of tables. I am thinking some sort of mic in the center of the ceiling with a fool proof recording system setup for the meetings... maybe a computer wouldn't be such a good idea after all... hmmm...

Any thoughts?
