I don't think I really understand what your setup is. I gather you have your computer in the same room as your HT system, but it is too far from your receiver to use your receiver as a decoder. Then if the decoder is in the computer, everything is okay? How? Where will you be running wires to then? Each speaker individually?

And is your computer directly next to your TV? I'm having difficulty picturing how you'd use your HT speakers
