Under the [network] part of the config.ini file (which you should be able to edit through emplode) you set:

DHCP=0

(As examplified in the [very very good] FAQ)
Just ignore the AC and DC stuff in that entry (unless you're using Hijack (highly recommended) and have different requirements at different places (home/work)
