Proxim's Symphony line has a wireless-to-Ethernet bridge. Just a box with an antenna and an RJ-45. I have the pre-HomeRF model and it worked well. At the other end you can use their PCMCIA or USB adapters. If you don't care about HRF compatibility there are also PCI and ISA adapters.
