This did happen to me once, and that day, I wished I'd had a menuexec item on the empeg to put the disk in rw mode so the database would be written.

Of course I'd rather patch hijack to provide it because the builtin rw/ro functions that the ftpd uses as site commands are faster than the unedited rw/rwm scripts.
