Though it stretches the "Techno" label, I'd suggest you look into some Goa Trance. A good band to start with is Infected Mushroom. Another is Dark Soho, though they have a bit harder feel. There's also Mumbo Jumbo and, with my vote for best band name ever, Growling Mad Scientists.

Good stuff, but be careful: some of it tends to cause my gas pedal to malfunction, resulting in horribly increased rates of speed.
