I think you'll be into the trouble zone when you're pushing 75C ambient. I'm actually going to replace a RADEON 9700 in one of my systems with an older 8500 or 9000, specifically because of the heat and noise. I don't need fast 3D performance on that system (not until Longhorn ships), so it makes sense for me.
