an It just says that a certain time or number of mount operations has elapsed since last file systemcheck (fsck) was run on the partition. d can, IIRC, be turned off with Hijack. No worries, if something potentially truly bad happens (like forgetting to remount as read-only after having something mounted read-write) it wll stilll notice and complain. A synch will take care of the mattter, but it wlil ltake longer (with big drives potentially loooong) time as it wll then do an fsck at that time. Which is annoying as Murphy assures it will be the time whenyou just wanted to toss on a few new tracks or a few tag updates and be on your way...
