I have to see what's out there before a method of organization can come together. Maybe I'll hack together some mockups of layouts (if the layout can change, that is).

Here's a thought: Assuming that "riocar.org" is a non-profit organization, we could use Google's Public Service Search on the site. It's free, has no ads, can be altered to our "look and feel", and uses Google's typical super search power. Maybe that would help people find stuff quickly. Or would the database nature of the site get in the way?
