There is no defined way to sell an empeg here, but it has become customary to show the unit on with the about screen displaying the serial number. It's just a little odd that someone would be unable to provide this because the unit is already boxed-up. Couple that with quite a few scams in the past (for such a small community), new poster here, and new ebay account and things look a little off.

It's also odd that you say here that you have no money to install the empeg, but in the ebay auction you state you don't even have a car to install the empeg into. I guess you would have to spend money on a car, but that's a bit of a stretch.

If you could provide a pic of the about screen with serial, selling it to someone who reads these boards would be a lot easier for you. Ebay is another story, but a $333 starting bid for a 20GB unit isn't exactly a door-buster these days.
