Well, hardware has been ahead of software lately. 64 bit has been out for a while now, and the software hasn' t caught up to that yet. I've been reading that general multi-tasking of single-threaded programs is also improved on dual core processors.

Basically, it's faster. Heck, it's the fastest. It's the best. It must be mine!
