Yeah for pointless lawsuits. All probably because Apple didn't have a "Lithium-polymer batteries degenerate over time and may not power your device as long as they do when they are new." Looking at the end result, consumers who might have had a legitimate problem get $50 off a new Apple device, or $25 cash. The people who started the case got $1500 for their time. The lawyers on each side, probably 6 figures at least.
