It really should be as simple as unplugging from one empeg and plugging into the other since Mk2 and Mk2A firmware/player etc are all the same.

About the only thing I could see messing up is if you swap master/slave on the drives and the second drive doesn't have player software installed.

As long as you don't change anything it should just work (tm).
