Does the new flash you have installed (or the one you updated to) support the CPU you have installed?

I ran into similar symptoms last week when I bought and installed a new Celeron D into my Shuttle SS51G. Didn't work at all. Turns out the Shuttle doesn't support Celeron D processors. So I swapped the processor with the one in my media system - 2.66GHz P4 for 2.66GHz Celeron D. Now I have two usable systems.
