Hmmm... The first thing I thought of on reading this... YES, that would be WAY cool..

But you know.... I REALLY don't want to have a stereo interfaced directly to the computer controlling my mixture and other engine parameters. Sure it PROBABLY wouldn't be bad... But I'd really hate to have a GPF at 80 because of a stray bit, or a checksum that doesn't match *MY* interface exactly when the engine is in an operating state at x rpm, etc... It's not that I don't think the EMPEG is stable and all.... Just risk versus benefit comparisons come to mind...
