Thanks both of you. The aforementioned site answered all my questions. So, UNIX is a trademark that maybe licensed for a fee, if adhering to The Open Group's specifications. Non-licensed systems are only Unix-like, and legally,AIX, HP-UX, IRIX, Solaris, Tru64, A/UX and z/OS (Unix subsystem) can all be called UNIX.
