Some people have put "player -i" onto the Hijack Menu with a config.ini entry, to avoid the need for a serial connection here.

Related to this, what do y'all think about perhaps having Hijack just reset the current playlist (in memory, not disk!) to NULL whenever the player crashes ?

Or perhaps even better, maybe I'll just code up a new pemanent Hijack Menu entry for "Abandon Current Playlist", or something similar.. ?
