Sounds like some good ideas, Mark. But how could you navigate to HiJack to abandon the playlist if the player was locked? Or, would you still be able to access HiJack (just like during the few other hangs I've seen)?

Clearing the playlist on freeze would be a nice no-brainer way too. Maybe a config.ini option to disable it for those who love slogging through long playlists no matter what.
