Some people have put "player -i" onto the Hijack Menu with a config.ini entry, to avoid the need for a serial connection here.

I ran in to the "stuck on a track" problem this morning. I used this and looks like things are back to normal now. The only thing that looks a little odd is it seems to take a long time to skip to the next track.
Thanks for this I will need to either add it to the Hijack or keep this stored away somewhere in the cobb webs.
