I have been able to partiton and format this drive just fine as well as run an fsck on it with no errors.


So, pop the drive out onto a usb cable (or something) to connect to a PC running Linux, and then do "fdisk -l" on it, and post the results here.

From the notes above, the drive appears to have NOT been partitioned (aka. "built").
