There's a phenomenal amount that you CAN'T configure about Outlook printing. Outlook 2000 and 2003 couldn't print page ranges, only "even" or "odd". Then there's the e-mail and other default layouts.

Going slightly off topic, Outlook 2007 has an interesting Microsoft add on; the Calendar Print Assistant. It is the only way to print the FINALLY implemented calendar overlays. But it gives a whole host of other calendar layout options.

It's quite a piece, requiring .NET framework 3.0 (Vista style) with all its associated patches. Maybe they rushed O2k7 into production and couldn't include this, so refined it as an add on later.

Outlook moves in sometimes mysterious ways.
