What if there was an info setting that would show you song titles but only during track changes. kinda like how MTV would display artist and song info for a few seconds at teh beginning of a video...

This was long ago reported as one of the info modes that will be available in version 1.1 (when it comes out).

Its name is "Info: Transient". And it looks almost identical to the way you animated it.
