I wonder if costume goggles meant for steampunk outfits would work?

I was at a costume store for that very purpose recently (was headed to SteamCon in Seattle last month), and there were plenty of toy steampunk goggles that were shaped like welding goggles but had clear lenses.

I actually ended up getting some harry potter goggles and removing the quidditch logo from them because they were a bit cooler that way. Same kind of thing though.
