I can't think of anything but a bug, then. Yes, maybe the machine's name is an issue. The weird thing is that I dealt with machines having names with hyphens. Is it possible that the involved machines were not updated? Of course, I am just curious here, I realize you solved the problem and maybe don't want to waste more time on this.
