Controls are locking up but it keeps playing, even when i turn off the ignition.

This thing (this exact precise thing you just described in that sentence I quoted above) is a known bug in 2.0b3 and 2.0b7.

There is no word from the Empeg guys yet whether or not they've found the cause of the bug.
