"cp -auvfx /drive1/fids /drive0/" - That is working! Now, why is THAT working without "too many arguments" but the wildcard command didn't? (Sorry, I'm just trying to learn here...) If I could make a tiny request: could the telnet commands in the Linux have a little description here and there? For example, I assume the "-v" condition is "verify"? But I had no idea what I was telling to player to do in the fsck FAQ entry (I guess it worked though!)

cp -auvfx /drive1/fids /drive0/ is my fish.
