There is, and always has been, a very close relationship between sex and music.

Many of the techniques used in composing and making music have sexual parallels. The concept of the crescendo comes to mind immediately, but there are many more subtle parallels that can be drawn, as well. Musicians know this intuitively and exploit it fully when making their music.

A good piece of music can evoke similar responses as sexual activity can. I'm not saying a piece of music can give you an orgasm, but I've certainly had music give me a rush or give me goose bumps. And no one will deny that the proper music can set a certain "mood" for a couple in the right situation.
