Why is it that other ICE refer to their playback time in minutes, whereas empeg refers to their playback time in hours?

As if 5000 minutes is supposed to be more impressive than 600 hours... or for that matter, 100 hours...

The math:
5000 minutes = 83 1/3 hours < 100 hours < 600 hours

Perhaps I'm being presumptuous... I think it's cute nevertheless.
