I'd like to buy a button kit, but due to the fact that your mail server subscribes to the irrational "ban whole C-Classes" SPEWS list, I can't send you email.
You can try emailing me at [email protected]. Thanks.

Which list is this? Do you have a URL for it? Perhaps you should investigate having your IP range removed. I'm sure it's there for a good reason.

i have not heard back from the guy that makes the buttons.
This is normal. As it states at the top of his page in huge lettering:
"As kits become available, I will reply to each email request on a first-come-first-served basis. You will only receive an e-mail reply with ordering details when I am ready to fill your particular order. These button sets are cast one at a time, by hand, so there will be a delay between the time you email me and the time you get a reply."

true, but with that last post about that guy's email being blocked by the SPEWS list, it worries me that maybe he never got the email. oh nevermind, i'll just wait. I just thought it would make sense to have some order confirmation when you place it.

I'm pretty backed up right now. If your email didn't bounce I have it. I know its hard to wait, but it takes time to make these. If I was to sit down and do this as a full time posistion, I would have to charge much more.

I've thought about your making these kits and what a pita it could be, especially if you put in some hours at work. I'm sure molding and cleaning the button castings (especially the MK2,) assembling the kits, and mailing them out takes a bit of time. If you could ramp-up on volume, then it might be financially rewarding; however, you will likely have to settle for the modest dollars knowing that you have made me and others very appreciative of your labors. Aside from the cosmetic improvements, I drive daily to/from work in the dark, so the illuminated buttons are fantastic.
BTW, while I have both MK2 and MK2a players, I'm sure you could save yourself some time if you only provided a single knob in your kits.

I have brians kits, and I have no idea how he makes a profit. It seems that mass production would be the only chance, but it is well worth the wait.

The "good reason" my C-class (actually the entire B-Class) is in SPEWS is because there is a porn website at my ISP, so they blacklisted the entire ISP, my server included.
SPEWS is just as bad as the spammers they're trying to get rid of.

computers or tables rent movies. wires buy stuff near fruits. dvd-drives or paper plates rent movies. buttons, speakers, and pins next to dimensions go via computers. fruits, toes, and pens with vegetables give birth in crumbs. bees, places, and tahoes next to states fabricate on babies. juices or stores stand up.

The bot isn't yours? I thought it was pretty funny actually, but it could get annoying after a while.
