Since we don't have soups on the player and won't for the forseeable future, I was thinking about creating a new type of Paste command in jEmplode (like we have Paste and Deep Paste right now).
The new paste would be a Mirror Paste and would basically let you Copy a soup playlist and Paste it into an arbitrary spot in your playlist tree. That playlist you paste would then become read-only and every time you sync your Empeg, it would automatically be updated with the new entries that appear in the Soup.
So for instance, you could make a mirror of your "Genre" or "Artist/James taylor" soup playlist and every time you sync, any new tunes that appear in the Genre or "Artist/James Taylor" soup playlists would automatically be put into the mirrored playlist, basically giving you Soup playlists on the Empeg without a player modification.
What do you guys think? Would this be useful?
