I have a used Empeg Radio Tuner that used to be in my PT Cruiser. I sold the car and removed the Empeg and Tuner so now I am keeping the Empeg and selling the tuner. Excellent condition, includes original software disk.

$300 (shipping included) - Email me at [email protected]

I'm so tempted to sell every tuner I can lay my hands on and replace them with Patrick's tuners in a couple of weeks

(damned business ethics!)

It's a county to the east of London, and south of Cambridgeshire. Don't know why Rob objects to the place so strongly, though...

Well, if it's anything like it's Canadian counterpart (the southern-most county in Canada), I can understand perfectly why Rob would object to its namesake. That was, without doubt, the ugliest, flattest, worst place I have ever had the misfortune of living. Once I escaped (hooray for going away to university!), the only times I have gone back were to pass through on my way to somewhere else. Here's to never setting foot in Essex County ever again!

I lived in A'burg. As for Windsor, a line that I read in the Windsor Star once pretty much summed it up for me (and it's stuck with me since): Windsor is a dowdy lunch bucket city. Oh, did that one ever raise a stink, but look at what drives the city, and it's true: the big three auto maker factories, tool & die (I worked at one, even), strip clubs (big business given that Ontario's drinking age is lower than Michigan's), the casino, the Allied Chemical plant in A'burg, the salt mine, farming (on the outskirts), and the fact that it's at the end of the major trucking route. If the wind was blowing the wrong way, the air stunk of the pig farms -- at least it wasn't close enough to get the petro-chem stink from Sarnia. I was there at a time when: the art gallery was closed to turn it into a casino; the roller rink was closed to turn it into a bingo hall; A'burg's only movie theatre was closed to turn it into a bingo hall; Boblo Island (a small amusement park, for those not in the know) was shut down and converted into a golf course.

As Canadian cities go, Ottawa and Toronto (not to mention Quebec City, the major cities in Alberta, and Vancouver) are all much higher up the list than Windsor. I haven't been east of Quebec City, so I can't vouch for the Maritimes...

Cheers,

I have, I can, and Halifax is a very nice city. The one in Nova Scotia, of course. I don't like the one in Yorkshire at all...

Although Copley is a very scenic little area right next to Halifax (Yorkshire). Great views across hills and dales. Almost reminds me of home when I have to go down that way.

The real downside is that to get anywhere you have to use the M62. Akkk!

M62?

The real bugger is when you to use 'The Car Park' or the M6 to the uninitiated. I had to use that sodding thing every weekend to visit my GF in Manchester when I used to work at Pebble Mill. I used to travel late (~2230) so I didn't have to contend with traffic on the Aston Expressway and Spag Junction. Likewise, on the return journey I would leave REALLY late so as not to get caught in the traffic going back to London and the south.

Compared to that, the M62 is positively deserted and it's not like the views over Saddleworth moor are that bad!
