I have a few CD's that are not found in the CDDB database by EAC when I insert it in the CDROM drive. How can I add the information? And is EAC or LAME creating the ID3 tags? I hav elooked in all the options in EAC and I can not find a switch to turn this option on or off. I can not find anything like this in my version of RazorLAME either. Any insight would be appreciated.

In order to change the track titles, just click on the track to highlight it, then click again to make it editable. Don't do it too fast or you'll double-click. The artist and album info is at the top, to the right of the toolbar.

I think EAC is making the ID3 tags, but the option is under EAC->Compression Options...->External Compression->Add ID3 Tag.

I find that using the F2 key is a bit simpler than trying to time the picky double-click in EAC. (Highlight, F2, type)

make sure you fill out all the info and submit it back to the FreeDB. Just select Database->Edit CD Information and put a genre in there. Then select Database->Submit CD Information to freedb. I just finished my entire collection and submitted at least a couple hundred CD's. Also if the titles are incorrect, then fix them and submit them back.

later,
