OK. Ethernet should be fine.
Are you running Hijack or any other extra software?
If so, can you install a stock release and see if it still fails.
If it fails with the stock release, can you get a serial trace from the player, and the corresponding trace file from emplode? If you can then send them to me (
[email protected]), I'll see if there's anything obvious in there.
Also, you claim to be running version 1.9 on your player. I'm assuming that this is an off-by-one typo. Can you confirm exactly which version you're running, please?
