Has anyone tried one of these players in an offroad vehicle. I'm thinking about putting one in my Jeep CJ-7, but I'm worried about crashing the little hard drives that these utilize. Anyone have input?

Good example.

Hey, how do you do the markup tags so that you can put text inside a link like that?

The only way I know how to do it is to put the tags around the link itself, thus making the link data show up in orange. How did you get the words "this one" to be the link?

Never mind about the link instructions. I figured it out. I assumed that we could only use the built-in markup language with the square brackets. I just noticed that links work with HTML code in the messages, too. That's nice. (Not very secure, but nice.)

I just went off-roading this weekend in Ocala, FL and my empeg didn't skip once over the 2 days of trail riding including plenty of hard dips, climbs, and skids. I have it installed in an Isuzu VehiCross.

Thanks for the story/feedback. This was about all I needed to hear! I registered my intent to buy. I hope to get in on the March production cycle.
