I finally found some http://www.sander-electronic.de/be00027.html these would work well in the buttons kit to better illuminate the buttons.

What, you mean if you cast the buttons with fluorescent material in the plastic?

Yeah I would imagine with the 110 degree viewing angle and the buttons cast with some type of flourescing(sp?) material in the mix should lead to pretty neat looking buttons.

Well until the became available in SMD you really couldnt pull it off.

Um, keep in mind that the button LED's aren't SMD, only the knob LEDs.

The button LEDs are through-hole, they're just the smaller ones not the larger ones.

Yes Im aware but would it not look odd to have the buttons lit with UV and the knob not? Now with these LEDs you can light up both via UV.
