Try this: Ask $600 and see if you get any serious inquiries. If it doesn't move, you could always remove the 12GB hard disk and install a much larger drive (30GB - 60GB). You could then command a much higher asking price. Another option is to put the player on eBay and hope that someone will be willing to pay top dollar for a Christmas present.

I would go the ebay route myself. Just because one guy sells his empeg cheap doesn't mean you should have to. Especially if you paid the full price $1299 or whatever. Good Luck selling it.
