I woke up this morning (not after 100years) to a UK news item that said that industry watchdogs were criticising the computer industry for the price of printer cartridges and the cost of service policies and helplines, now those people must have been asleep for 100 years, or they don't read this BBS....

....why don't the helplines just have a recorded message that says: Whatever the problem, save your data, and reboot! - that's all they seem to want to tell you.
